Adelaide Coronavirus Cases Increase to 25

Adelaide’s COVID-19 coronavirus count has increased to 25, bringing the total nationwide count over 200. Numbers for coronavirus cases in Adelaide are continuing to raise.

4 people have been recently tested positive. This comes as the state government has opened its first drive through testing centre for COVID-19. The Government has also banned public gathering of 500 people or more to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Minister for Home Affairs, Peter Dutton tests positive for coronavirus, and all passengers aboard Peter Duttons flights have been asked to self isolate for 14 days, and are all being tested for the virus.

Students Across schools in Adelaide are calling for schools to be shut down to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with one petition gaining 7,500 signatures.

Other countries have begun enforcing mandatory curfews. Italy has enforced a mandatory curfew, however people are still able to travel for essentials such as good It’s likely that Australia may be forced into a similar situation as numbers continue to increase.
